arrow:Integration to 'Apache' 'Arrow'
'Apache' 'Arrow' <https://arrow.apache.org/> is a cross-language development platform for in-memory data. It specifies a standardized language-independent columnar memory format for flat and hierarchical data, organized for efficient analytic operations on modern hardware. This package provides an interface to the 'Arrow C++' library.

GEOquery:Get data from NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO)
The NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) is a public repository of microarray data. Given the rich and varied nature of this resource, it is only natural to want to apply BioConductor tools to these data. GEOquery is the bridge between GEO and BioConductor.

memisc:Management of Survey Data and Presentation of Analysis Results
An infrastructure for the management of survey data including value labels, definable missing values, recoding of variables, production of code books, and import of (subsets of) 'SPSS' and 'Stata' files is provided. Further, the package allows to produce tables and data frames of arbitrary descriptive statistics and (almost) publication-ready tables of regression model estimates, which can be exported to 'LaTeX' and HTML.

Mediana:Clinical Trial Simulations
Provides a general framework for clinical trial simulations based on the Clinical Scenario Evaluation (CSE) approach. The package supports a broad class of data models (including clinical trials with continuous, binary, survival-type and count-type endpoints as well as multivariate outcomes that are based on combinations of different endpoints), analysis strategies and commonly used evaluation criteria.

BranchGLM:Efficient Best Subset Selection for GLMs via Branch and Bound Algorithms
Performs efficient and scalable glm best subset selection using a novel implementation of a branch and bound algorithm. To speed up the model fitting process, a range of optimization methods are implemented in 'RcppArmadillo'. Parallel computation is available using 'OpenMP'.

tableschema.r:Table Schema 'Frictionless Data'
Allows to work with 'Table Schema' (<https://specs.frictionlessdata.io/table-schema/>). 'Table Schema' is well suited for use cases around handling and validating tabular data in text formats such as 'csv', but its utility extends well beyond this core usage, towards a range of applications where data benefits from a portable schema format. The 'tableschema.r' package can load and validate any table schema descriptor, allow the creation and modification of descriptors, expose methods for reading and streaming data that conforms to a 'Table Schema' via the 'Tabular Data Resource' abstraction.

rhosp:Side Effect Risks in Hospital : Simulation and Estimation
Evaluating risk (that a patient arises a side effect) during hospitalization is the main purpose of this package. Several methods (Parametric, non parametric and De Vielder estimation) to estimate the risk constant (R) are implemented in this package. There are also functions to simulate the different models of this issue in order to quantify the previous estimators. It is necessary to read at least the first six pages of the report to understand the topic.
