gamlss:Generalized Additive Models for Location Scale and Shape
Functions for fitting the Generalized Additive Models for Location Scale and Shape introduced by Rigby and Stasinopoulos (2005), <doi:10.1111/j.1467-9876.2005.00510.x>. The models use a distributional regression approach where all the parameters of the conditional distribution of the response variable are modelled using explanatory variables.

epinowcast:Flexible Hierarchical Nowcasting
Tools to enable flexible and efficient hierarchical nowcasting of right-truncated epidemiological time-series using a semi-mechanistic Bayesian model with support for a range of reporting and generative processes. Nowcasting, in this context, is gaining situational awareness using currently available observations and the reporting patterns of historical observations. This can be useful when tracking the spread of infectious disease in real-time: without nowcasting, changes in trends can be obfuscated by partial reporting or their detection may be delayed due to the use of simpler methods like truncation. While the package has been designed with epidemiological applications in mind, it could be applied to any set of right-truncated time-series count data.

anomo:Analysis of Moderation, Statistical Power, and Optimal Design for Studies Detecting Difference and Equivalence
Analysis of moderation (ANOMO) method conceptualizes the difference and equivalence tests as a moderation problem to test the difference and equivalence of two means (or two effects in two studies).

mclm:Mastering Corpus Linguistics Methods
Read, inspect and process corpus files for quantitative corpus linguistics. Obtain concordances via regular expressions, tokenize texts, and compute frequencies and association measures. Useful for collocation analysis, keywords analysis and variationist studies (comparison of linguistic variants and of linguistic varieties).

RiskMap:Geo-Statistical Modeling of Spatially Referenced Data
Provides functions for geo-statistical analysis of both continuous and count data using maximum likelihood methods. The models implemented in the package use stationary Gaussian processes with Matern correlation function to carry out spatial prediction in a geographical area of interest. The underpinning theory of the methods implemented in the package are found in Diggle and Giorgi (2019, ISBN: 978-1-138-06102-7).

vcrpart:Tree-Based Varying Coefficient Regression for Generalized Linear and Ordinal Mixed Models
Recursive partitioning for varying coefficient generalized linear models and ordinal linear mixed models. Special features are coefficient-wise partitioning, non-varying coefficients and partitioning of time-varying variables in longitudinal regression. A description of a part of this package was published by Burgin and Ritschard (2017) <doi:10.18637/jss.v080.i06>.
