directlabels:Direct Labels for Multicolor Plots
An extensible framework for automatically placing direct labels onto multicolor 'lattice' or 'ggplot2' plots. Label positions are described using Positioning Methods which can be re-used across several different plots. There are heuristics for examining "trellis" and "ggplot" objects and inferring an appropriate Positioning Method.

multiverse:Create 'multiverse analysis' in R
Implement 'multiverse' style analyses (Steegen S., Tuerlinckx F, Gelman A., Vanpaemal, W., 2016) <doi:10.1177/1745691616658637> to show the robustness of statistical inference. 'Multiverse analysis' is a philosophy of statistical reporting where paper authors report the outcomes of many different statistical analyses in order to show how fragile or robust their findings are. The 'multiverse' package (Sarma A., Kale A., Moon M., Taback N., Chevalier F., Hullman J., Kay M., 2021) <doi:10.31219/osf.io/yfbwm> allows users to concisely and flexibly implement 'multiverse-style' analysis, which involve declaring alternate ways of performing an analysis step, in R and R Notebooks.

admisc:Adrian Dusa's Miscellaneous
Contains functions used across packages 'DDIwR', 'QCA' and 'venn'. Interprets and translates, factorizes and negates SOP - Sum of Products expressions, for both binary and multi-value crisp sets, and extracts information (set names, set values) from those expressions. Other functions perform various other checks if possibly numeric (even if all numbers reside in a character vector) and coerce to numeric, or check if the numbers are whole. It also offers, among many others, a highly versatile recoding routine and some more flexible alternatives to the base functions 'with()' and 'within()'. SOP simplification functions in this package use related minimization from package 'QCA', which is recommended to be installed despite not being listed in the Imports field, due to circular dependency issues.

zonohedra:Compute and Plot Zonohedra from Vector Generators
Computes a zonohedron from real vector generators. The package also computes zonogons (2D zonotopes) and zonosegs (1D zonotopes). An elementary S3 class for matroids is included, which supports matroids with rank 3, 2, and 1. Optimization methods are taken from Heckbert (1985) <https://www.cs.cmu.edu/~ph/zono.ps.gz>.

fastshp:Fast routines for hanlding large ESRI shapefiles (.shp)
Routines for handling of large ESRI shapefiles (.shp). This includes reading, thinning of points and matching of points to containing shapes. The main aim for this package is to provide the speed to support large shapefiles (millions of points). It is several orders of maginute faster than some other shapefile packages.

SpatialVx:Spatial Forecast Verification
Spatial forecast verification refers to verifying weather forecasts when the verification set (forecast and observations) is on a spatial field, usually a high-resolution gridded spatial field. Most of the functions here require the forecast and observed fields to be gridded and on the same grid. For a thorough review of most of the methods in this package, please see Gilleland et al. (2009) <doi: 10.1175/2009WAF2222269.1> and for a tutorial on some of the main functions available here, see Gilleland (2022) <doi: 10.5065/4px3-5a05>.
