RProtoBuf:R Interface to the 'Protocol Buffers' 'API' (Version 2 or 3)
Protocol Buffers are a way of encoding structured data in an efficient yet extensible format. Google uses Protocol Buffers for almost all of its internal 'RPC' protocols and file formats. Additional documentation is available in two included vignettes one of which corresponds to our 'JSS' paper (2016, <doi:10.18637/jss.v071.i02>. A sufficiently recent version of 'Protocol Buffers' library is required; currently version 3.3.0 from 2017 is the stated minimum.

SpaDES.core:Core Utilities for Developing and Running Spatially Explicit Discrete Event Models
Provides the core framework for a discrete event system to implement a complete data-to-decisions, reproducible workflow. The core components facilitate the development of modular pieces, and enable the user to include additional functionality by running user-built modules. Includes conditional scheduling, restart after interruption, packaging of reusable modules, tools for developing arbitrary automated workflows, automated interweaving of modules of different temporal resolution, and tools for visualizing and understanding the within-project dependencies. The suggested package 'NLMR' can be installed from the repository (<https://PredictiveEcology.r-universe.dev>).

partitions:Additive Partitions of Integers
Additive partitions of integers. Enumerates the partitions, unequal partitions, and restricted partitions of an integer; the three corresponding partition functions are also given. Set partitions and now compositions and riffle shuffles are included.

dMod:Dynamic Modeling and Parameter Estimation in ODE Models
The framework provides functions to generate ODEs of reaction networks, parameter transformations, observation functions, residual functions, etc. The framework follows the paradigm that derivative information should be used for optimization whenever possible. Therefore, all major functions produce and can handle expressions for symbolic derivatives.

leem:Laboratory of Teaching to Statistics and Mathematics
An educational package for teaching statistics and mathematics in both primary and higher education. The objective is to assist in the teaching/learning process, both for student study planning and teacher teaching strategies. The leem package aims to provide, in a simple yet in-depth manner, knowledge of statistics and mathematics to anyone who wants to study these areas of knowledge.

pim:Fit Probabilistic Index Models
Fit a probabilistic index model as described in Thas et al, 2012: <doi:10.1111/j.1467-9868.2011.01020.x>. The interface to the modeling function has changed in this new version. The old version is still available at R-Forge.

slimr:Create, Run and Post-Process 'SLiM' Population Genetics Forward Simulations
Lets you write 'SLiM' scripts (population genomics simulation) using your favourite R IDE, using a syntax as close as possible to the original 'SLiM' language. It offer many tools to manipulate those scripts, as well as run them in the 'SLiM' software from R, as well as capture and post-process their output, after or even during a simulation.

fdesigns:Optimal Experimental Designs for Functional/Dynamic Models
Optimal experimental designs for functional linear and functional generalised linear models, for scalar responses and profile/dynamic factors. The designs are optimised using the coordinate exchange algorithm. The methods are discussed by Michaelides (2023) <https://eprints.soton.ac.uk/474982/1/Thesis_DamianosMichaelides_Final_pdfa_1_.pdf>.
