tstools:A Time Series Toolbox for Official Statistics
Plot official statistics' time series conveniently: automatic legends, highlight windows, stacked bar chars with positive and negative contributions, sum-as-line option, two y-axes with automatic horizontal grids that fit both axes and other popular chart types. 'tstools' comes with a plethora of defaults to let you plot without setting an abundance of parameters first, but gives you the flexibility to tweak the defaults. In addition to charts, 'tstools' provides a super fast, 'data.table' backed time series I/O that allows the user to export / import long format, wide format and transposed wide format data to various file types.

spaMM:Mixed-Effect Models, with or without Spatial Random Effects
Inference based on models with or without spatially-correlated random effects, multivariate responses, or non-Gaussian random effects (e.g., Beta). Variation in residual variance (heteroscedasticity) can itself be represented by a mixed-effect model. Both classical geostatistical models (Rousset and Ferdy 2014 <doi:10.1111/ecog.00566>), and Markov random field models on irregular grids (as considered in the 'INLA' package, <https://www.r-inla.org>), can be fitted, with distinct computational procedures exploiting the sparse matrix representations for the latter case and other autoregressive models. Laplace approximations are used for likelihood or restricted likelihood. Penalized quasi-likelihood and other variants discussed in the h-likelihood literature (Lee and Nelder 2001 <doi:10.1093/biomet/88.4.987>) are also implemented.

pems.utils:Portable Emissions (and Other Mobile) Measurement System Utilities
Utility functions for the handling, analysis and visualisation of data from portable emissions measurement systems ('PEMS') and other similar mobile activity monitoring devices. The package includes a dedicated 'pems' data class that manages many of the quality control, unit handling and data archiving issues that can hinder efforts to standardise 'PEMS' research.
